Hi, I'm Echo.

I'm a trans lesbian (she/her) who likes to fuck with computers, and create stuff I would consider myself to be a extremely dominant (just take my word for it) lesbian who is currently single. Systems Administration

I have built myself one hell of a homelab from retired enterprise gear. I like to do a bit of systems administration stuff and self host quite a few services because I find it fun and I have very little trust for most tech companies. I also try to imitate a production setup wherever possible and go a bit overkill with some stuff. Go check out the Cluster page for more info.

Opinions on AI

I am pretty anti AI. I screwed around with in spring 2025, but using it ended up biting me in the ass. I also don't think AI growth is currently sustainable, especially with energy concerns. That being said, there is a certain person in my life who won't stop trying to get me to embrace AI and even tried to get me to vibe code this site (please send help).

Linux

I drive Linux. Arch for devices I directly interact with and Debian/XCP-ng for servers. I do have a Windows VM on standby though in case I need to run some Windows only programs.

I have been using Linux since 2023. I started with Zorin, but moved to Arch a few months later, then Fedora, Debian, and now back to Arch.

On servers I have experimented with Fedora Server, Rocky, Debian, XCP-ng, ESXi, and Proxmox. Right now, I am in the process of trying to move everything off of XCP-ng.

CAD & 3D Printing

I haven't done much recently, but I have designed a bunch of things to make my life easier such as phone cases that hold wallets and keys, a multitool based off of a boxcutter blade, and a completely custom desktop case which is still a work in progress.

Programming

I haven't done much with most of them, but I have created some cool stuff such as a TI-Basic triangle solver, some really bad sites I made when I was in middle school, and a joke site I made to terrorize a friend.
